Alright all, this is my first post on this new page regarding brain tumor research. I am starting it with this link to an AARP article that talks about cancer stem cells. I have not yet spoken with Dr.Quinones-Hinojosa, but I plan to. His research into cancer stem cells is related to some research being done by Oncomed using a new drug called M2118. Also, the mention of glucose could be related to some research being done by the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Texas into Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein-2.
